Pastor Steve Swets was born and raised in NW Indiana. He graduated from Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, IN in 2007. He has pastored at United Reformed congregations in Abbotsford, B.C. and Hamilton, ON before moving to St. John to pastor Redeemer in 2023. 

Steve and Rachel were married in 2005 and they have been blessed with 4 covenant children. The Swets family enjoys playing games, sports, reading, hiking and most things outdoors.
